Cherry Tomatoes

These tomatoes are why people stop buying tomatoes at a regular store. We pick them in the morning on the Novák family field in Polabí, still with the dew on them, and they are on their way to you that same afternoon. They are not grown for a long journey, so they are sweeter and juicier than anything that sat in storage for a week. Eat them straight from the bowl as a snack, or toss them into a summer salad with basil. Keep them in the fridge and eat them within a few days, while they still carry that summer sun in them.
